Black Dandyism Explained

I look forward to the Met Gala every year. I am most interested in seeing how the rich and famous interpret the theme. There are few celebrities that I trust to carry the theme every year... Rihanna 

In 2024, the theme was "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion" which referenced the 1962 short story "A garden in time" by J.G. Ballard (I am still to read it)... remember Tyla in the sand dress by Balmain? 

What excited me about this year's theme: Superfine: Tailoring Black Style was its celebration of black history and culture. Specifically, the exploration of Black Dandyism...
